Temptation is the first vessel in South Australia to be given a license to swim with and study these magnificent mammals and has been operating successful dolphin swim and watch tours from Glenelg since 2002. 

This is possibly the only cruise of its type, where we don't go to the dolphins, they come us, something has taken many cruise to achieve. 

We offer two different swim experiences during our Wild Dolphin Cruise. A Front Swim and a Back Swim. During a typical tour, customers will get the opportunity to try both swim experiences.

Front Swim Experience:

Lay down and feel as if you're a part of the dolphin pod, our Front Swim is an experience you don't want to miss. 

Our custom made Front Swim net is secured between the bows of Temptation and allows customers to experience wild dolphin swimming within arms length, playing and socialising on the bow of Temptation 

Back Swim Experience:

Submerge yourself in the water with our Back Swim Experience, an amazing way to view wild dolphins in their natural habitat. 

Our Back Swim Experience allows customers to interact with dolphins from a truly unique perspective. Jump in and hold on to our mermaid lines off the back of the vessel and enjoy amazing interactions our wild dolphins offer. 

**Please note: We operate both swim experiences throughout our Wild Dolphin Cruise and rotate customers between the Front Swim and Back Swim Experiences to evenly spread interaction time with the Dolphins. Children from the age of 9 years old are allowed to swim**

Sit down, relax and watch from the front of Temptation and enjoy our 360 degree viewing deck. Watch the dolphins play on the bow of the boat swimming only a few feet away from you and your camera. 

Listen to our knowledgable Marine Biologists educate and explain the interactions with our amazing Indo-Pacific bottlenose and short-beaked common dolphins.

The gulf in which we operate is home to over 1300 residential Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins and 1000-2000 migratory short-beaked common dolphins. During our Dolphin Watch we guarantee we will see dolphins on this tour. 

It is important to remember that all of the dolphins we see on our tours are completely wild and every interaction is different. We do not do anything to attract them and they choose to swim with us on their own free will.

Sit back, relax and enjoy a panoramic view of Adelaide's stunning coastline while sipping on a beverage from our licenced bar stocking local beer and wine during sunset. 

As we cruise, listen to some light music and watch the sunset over the water with your friends, family and our amazing crew.

Return to the Glenelg Marina Pier, which is one of Adelaide’s best outdoor dining destinations hosting a variety of incredible restaurants and bars.

Temptation is a 58-foot sailing catamaran, which operates only 15 minutes from Adelaide's central business district. Temptation is survey registered to hold 50 day passengers and can travel anywhere in the world, making her an extremely stable vessel in South Australian waters.

Come join the party departing from Glenelg’s Marina Pier! Cruise along Adelaide's coast while having a drink and enjoying some tunes out on the water. After the cruise, head up to the Marina Pier or walk down to Jetty Road where you’ll find a range of bars and restaurants to enjoy a few more drinks.
